DESCRIPTION

The Content Writer position is an excellent opportunity to work with forward-thinking individuals in the cutting-edge industry of electric vehicles. The Content Writer is responsible for partnering with a variety of subject matter experts to create, compile and edit training content for classroom, video, web-based and other training delivery methods.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define needs/objectives and transfer knowledge
  • Gather information from multiple sources and define help the training needs
  • Write and edit technical, customer call center, field technicians, Network Operations Center (NOC) and other training materials
  • Able to work independently while managing multiple deliverables and changing priorities
  • Clearly communicate ideas and findings to peers, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Work independently in a cross-functional team, including geographically dispersed partners
  • Develop new content threads leveraging internal and external subject matter experts
  • Work within scheduling and collaborative work processes and deadlines as required for successful management of projects
  • Work with design and engineering to conceptualize and create engaging visuals across all marketing channels
  • Review and edit content written by various SME’s
  • Attend project, client and team meetings
  • Translate complex concepts into simple, intuitive communications and guides
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience developing training material
  • Detail oriented, well organized and objective driven
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading ability
  • Previous experience within engineering or related industry such as electrical engineering
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills and attention to detail
  • Quick to pick up new concepts, and strong desire to learn
  • Ability/willingness to learn complex, sometimes technical, concepts quickly
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Video production and Editing experience preferred
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Travel required (25%)
